Mockingjay

Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins

This is the third book in the Hunger Games Trilogy.  It did not have as much action as The Hunger Games, but it does have a lot of action. My favorite part is when Katniss and Gale are sneaking through the capitol and dodging the capitol's rebels' weapons (a couple of them are quite scary). I suggest you read this book.

Catching Fire

Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins

I don't think this book was a good follow-up to The Hunger Games. I didn't like it. It didn't have as much action as the first book did. It's kind of long and drags on. But I suggest you read it if you are going to continue on reading the series.

Maximum Ride - School's Out Forever

Maximum Ride - School's Out Forever by James Patterson

This book was a thrill ride that never ended. I couldn't put it down. Max is strong, as usual, but shows some weakness at times when she (Yes! Max is a girl!) sheds some tears. My favorite part of the book is at the end - the last three to five pages. I'm not telling you why.

Maximum Ride - The Angel Experiment

Maximum Ride - The Angel Experiment
by James Patterson

This book was very suspenseful and it always kept me on my toes. There was always a new surprise at the end of every corner. I suggest that you read this book.

Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck

This book was depressing all the way through. It's about two men that travel together. One is a tall bear of a man named Lennie, the other is a small man named George.  It's a classic, but I didn't love it.

Gregor the Overlander

Gregor the Overlander by Suzanne Collins

I recommend this book because it is an action adventure and I love these types of books. In this book a boy named Gregor gets sent down to an underground city because he opened his laundry machine and a portal took him down. He goes on an adventure there.  It's interesting what he finds.

The Middle School Survival Guide

The Middle School Survival Guide by Arlene Erlbach

This book wasn't helpful. I hated it so much.
