This book is the fifth in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid Series. It was sad at the beginning, but things start to turn Greg's way. He gets what he wants, but it ends unexpectedly. I think this is the last one of the series that Jeff Kinney is going to write. I liked this series, so I hope he is going to keep writing more.

This book is sad but happy. It is a roller coaster of emotions because there are so many feelings of love and sadness in this book. It is about a girl named Helen and her pal named Tuck, the yellow Labrador you see in the picture. In the book, some trouble happens with Tuck. Helen took Tuck and tried to make it all better. I bet you are wondering why there is another dog in the picture. Well, her name is Daisy. That's all I'll tell you!

The Giver

The Giver by Lois Lowry

In this book, a boy Jonas is singled out for training by a person named "The Giver." I can't tell you what kind of training it is, all I can tell you is that it is special. My favorite part of this book was when he first read the rules for his new job. I liked that part the best because he was shocked and surprised and so was I.
