The Giver by Lois Lowry
In this book, a boy Jonas is singled out for training by a person named "The Giver." I can't tell you what kind of training it is, all I can tell you is that it is special. My favorite part of this book was when he first read the rules for his new job. I liked that part the best because he was shocked and surprised and so was I.
